Jamaal Charles exited the game against Denver in the second quarter with an ankle injury.

Our View:Charles, who is the primary backup to Larry Johnson, has been deemed questionable to return.
November 23, 2008
Jamaal Charles had three catches for 45 yards and a touchdown, and added two rushes for 22 yards on the ground in Week 12.

Our View:He was quiet after scoring a touchdown on the first drive, but he continues to do a nice job as the Chiefs' third-down back in his rookie season.
November 11, 2008
Jamaal Charles could be questionable for this weekend's game against the Saints due to his ankle injury, according to the Kansas City Star.

Our View:Larry Johnson may return to the lineup this week, so Charles would likely serve as the No. 2 back if able to play.
November 9, 2008
Running back Jamaal Charles (ankle) returned for the start of the second half in the Week 10 game against the Chargers.

Our View:That's good news for the Chiefs offense. They could get Larry Johnson back for Week 11, although it's not yet known if Herm Edwards will extend his suspension.
November 9, 2008
Running back Jamaal Charles aggravated his ankle injury early in the Week 10 game against the Chargers. Dantrell Savage has taken his place. Charles's return is questionable.

Our View:It's sad when the Chiefs best option may be to let Tyler Thigpen throw it on every play. Herm Edwards may have little choice but to let Larry Johnson come back in Week 11.
