Gerran Walker has been released by Pittsburgh, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Our View:Walker had little to no shot to make the final roster at receiver this season.

The Chargers claimed Gerran Walker off waivers from the Colts Tuesday. Walker was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Colts in April. He should compete for the roster spot vacated by Rashaun Woods, who was waived.
