Bills defensive tackle John McCargo was put on injured reserve with a back injury, ending his season, according to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.

Our View:McCargo has been a bust since being drafted in the first round in 2006. He was even traded from Buffalo to the Colts but failed a physical. He has not amassed even one tackle this season.

Bills defensive tackle John McCargo is probably going to be released by the team, according to John Clayton of ESPN.com.

Our View:McCargo, a first-round bust, was traded to the Colts, but failed his physical, so he's right back where he started, and nobody seems too happy about it.

John McCargo will not join the Colts as he has failed his physical which will cause him to be sent back to the Colts, according to Pro Football Talk.

Our View:McCargo continues to try and work his way back from a bulging disk in his back, something that obviously hasn't gone as well as hoped. The Colts will receive their fourth round pick back as a result of the failed deal.

The Colts have acquired John McCargo from the Bills in exchange for an undisclosed draft pick, according to NFL.com's Adam Schefter.

Our View:McCargo is a former first-round pick that's underachieved in Buffalo. This seems to be a worthy gamble for Indy, depending on what they gave up.

Buffalo Bills defensive tackle John McCargo was excused from practice on Tuesday to tend to personal matters, according to BuffaloBills.com.

Our View:McCargo has been a bust since being drafted in the first round in 2006. Almost universally, pundits thought the pick was odd, and in that sense have been proven to be correct. He has not made a single tackle this season.
