Player Notes
November 24, 2008
Greg Camarillo will undergo an MRI on his injured left knee, according to the Miami Herald.

Our View:He was sporting crutches and a large brace on his left leg in the locker room following Sunday's loss to New England. Camarillo would be a tough loss for the Dolphins if forced to miss time as he racked up 55 receptions for 613 yards over 11 outings.
November 23, 2008
Greg Camarillo left Sunday's game with a left knee injury and is not expected to return.

Our View:There is no word on the severity of the injury, but we will continue to follow it.
November 19, 2008
Greg Camarillo signed a three-year extension worth $6 million with the Dolphins on Wednesday, according to the Palm Beach Post.

Our View:Camarillo's been having a nice year for the Dolphins, so extending him is probably a good move.
November 2, 2008
Greg Camarillo had a career day on Sunday, making 11 receptions for 111 yards.

Our View:This would be far from the norm for Camarillo, as it was his career high in receptions. However, if Pennington stays on his game, Camarillo could become a fantasy option in some leagues.
October 19, 2008
Quarterback Chad Pennington has compared Greg Camarillo to former teammate Wayne Chrebet (Jets), according to the Sun-Sentinel. Pennington said, "He reminds me a little bit of Wayne Chrebet, being able to work those holes and those areas. Then he can do something after the catch."

Our View:Camarillo has been the Dolphins' most consistent and reliable receiver over the first five games of the season, but still only caught 21 passes for 263 yards and one score. He should not be considered for fantasy lineups, especially today against the Ravens' No. 1 ranked pass defense.
October 5, 2008
Greg Camarillo caught six balls for 68 yards and one touchdown in the Week 5 victory over San Diego.

Our View:Camarillo has emerged as the Dolphins' most productive receiver with 17 receptions, 214 yards and one touchdown this season (four games).
September 12, 2008
Derek Hagan was practicing with the first-team offense this week, but Greg Camarillo will remain a starter opposite Ted Ginn Jr. for Sunday's game against Arizona, according to the Miami Herald. Hagan is still expected to see significant playing time.

Our View:While Camarillo remains a starter, his fantasy value is still low. He is only worth a look as a bye week filler for larger leagues.
September 3, 2008
Greg Camarillo has reportedly moved ahead of Derek Hagan as the No. 2 receiver at practice today after Hagan dropped two passes in the preseason finale, according to the Sun Sentinel.

Our View:Camarillo would be worthy of a flier as a deep reserve if he does in fact start opposite Ted Ginn Jr. If quarterback Chad Pennington can move the ball efficiently, Canarillo could be a decent bye week filler.

Greg Camarillo is making such a good showing in the offseason, he could be a valuable contributor to the Dolphins offense this season, according to the Sporting News.

Our View:The Dolphins don't even have a quarterback right now, so Camarillo's contributions to fantasy teams may be difficult to gauge until that battle gets settled. However, he is someone to keep an eye on and possibly take a flyer on late in fantasy drafts.
