Greg Camarillo has been dealt a $5,000 fine for an unnecessary penalty in Week 15 against Tennessee, according to the Sun-Sentinel.

Our View:The receiver hit safety Michael Griffin late after Griffin try to declare himself down on an interception return. The NFL is out to protect players, and did not feel Griffin needed to be hit on the play.

Greg Camarillo hauled in a game-high seven receptions for 110 yards in Sunday's 14-10 win at Jacksonville.

Our View:Camarillo had a big game after replacing the injured Davone Bess at receiver. He topped 100 yards in a game for the first time this season, but is still yet to reach paydirt.

Greg Camarillo will start in Week 1 against the Falcons, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel confirms.

Our View:The Dolphins will rotate Camarillo and Davone Bess at the No. 2 receiver spot opposite Ted Ginn, Jr., and we may even see rookie Brian Hartline a bit. Camarillo is worth a bench spot in larger leagues that count points per receptions.

Greg Camarillo will be the team's "flanker" receiver in 2009, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Our View:Along with Ted Ginn, Camarillo is now officially one of the Dolphins' top two receivers for 2009. He will mostly line up on the line of scrimmage, and the Sun-Sentinel speculates that he could lead the team in catches. He's worth a late round flier, and could become more valuable as the season progresses if he and Chad Pennington really gel.

Greg Camarillo is starting at wide receiver for the Dolphins in their final preseason game on Thursday, according to the Twitter page of beat writer Omar Kelly. Camarillo is still fighting for the starting job opposite Ted Ginn Jr.

Our View:Camarillo has fallen on the depth chart this summer, but it looks like he will get one last chance to try to win the job. He is competing with Davone Bess and Brian Hartline for the job, and tonight's game could go a long way in determining which player will get the most snaps early in the season.
