The Bucs added fullback J.D. Runnels on Saturday, the St. Petersburg Times reports.

Our View:We don't expect Runnels to give B.J. Askew a fight for the starting job, and J.D. is a good bet to be cut in the coming weeks.

J.D. Runnels has been waived by the Bears, according to the Daily Herald.

Our View:Runnels has good blocking skills as a fullback, but was not going to play a role with the Bears in 2008.
