Jeff Webb will be the third receiver for the Chiefs in Week 1 when they face the Patriots according to the Kansas City Star. Normally it would be rookie Will Franklin who is out with a bad knee. Dwayne Bowe and Devard Darling will be the starters.

Our View:Do not expect him to have any fantasy impact. If anything, his presence enhances the values of Bowe and Tony Gonzalez because they figure to receive more targets.

Most people assume that Devard Darling will start at wide receiver for the Chiefs, but don't count Jeff Webb among them, according to the Kansas City Star. “You have to believe in yourself, work hard and then take advantage of your opportunity. We only have one guaranteed starter, and that’s (Dwayne) Bowe. After that, it’s all about who performs the best.”

Our View:That's the type of attitude all football players should have. Though Webb has had limited success in the NFL, it's not like Darling is an established veteran in his own right so this is a battle to keep a close eye on, though neither figures to make much of an impact given the state of the Chiefs quarterback situation.
