Jerome Harrison is expected to share the rushing load with Reuben Droughns this week, according to a report in the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "He brings that extra quickness and burst," Crennel said of Harrison Thursday. "I think it showed up the times he's been active, but there's a consistency level you have to meet and I think he's working on that." We've seen many times over the years that what a coach says off-the-cuff during the week doesn't always come to play out on Sunday. Harrison ran well in the summer but he's hardly been given a chance to show his stuff during the year; his time may be coming now because Jason Wright is out for the year.

Jerome Harrison would probably get the start for the Browns this week if Reuben Droughns (shoulder) can't go, according to the Akron Beacon-Journal. Jason Wright and Lawrence Vickers would also be in the mix.

Rookie Jerome Harrison appears to have locked up a roster spot with the Browns, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. That means that William Green and Lee Suggs likely are battling for one roster spot in the Browns' backfield.
