Player Notes
November 19, 2008
Jerome Harrison did not practice on Wednesday, according to the Browns' official site.

Our View:Harrison hasn't had a ton of fantasy value this season, but has come on as of late. We'll keep you posted on his status.

Jerome Harrison's status for Sunday is uncertain after he injured his hamstring on Monday night, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Our View:Harrison has been fairly productive in his last two games, but still doesn't have a ton of fantasy value.

Jerome Harrison was heavily involved last week in the first quarter before basically disappearing the rest of the game. Look for the club to get Harrison some more consistent work moving forward, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. We're going to try to see if we can be a little more consistent about getting the ball in his hands," HC Romeo Crennell said.

Our View:Harrison racked up five touches for 44 yards in that first quarter scoring drive showing that he can be a useful change of pace back to the straight ahead running of Jamal Lewis.

Jerome Harrison rushed five times for 36 yards in the Browns' preseason loss to the Giants Monday.

Our View:Harrison always seems to perform well in the preseason but is never given much of shot in games that count. He will be third on the depth chart behind Jamal Lewis and Jason Wright.

Browns running back Jerome Harrison may not make the team's final roster because he is not a quality performer on special teams, according to Sporting News Today. It seems Browns head coach Romeo Crennel might prefer to keep fullback Charles Ali instead.

Our View:If you're a back-up in the NFL, being a special teams performer is usually part of the job description. Harrison might be saved because his team's general manager, Phil Savage, apparently wants to keep him on the team due to his speed.
