Running back Leon Washington produced a 18-yard touchdown reception and a 60-yard scoring run in the Week 8 win over the Chiefs. He ended up with 101 total yards over six touches.

Our View:You'd think the guy could get more than six touches when he is having such obvious success. Washington has found the end zone in two straight games, but his low workload means fantasy owners can't really count on him.

Leon Washington had his first real fantasy relevant day of the year against Miami on Sunday, carrying 10 times for 68 yards and two touchdowns, and added two catches for 35 yards. Thomas Jones naturally received most of the work on the day, rushing for 75 yards and a score on 24 carries. Washington doesn't figure to have consistent value the rest of the way, but it's at least possible the Jets will look to work him into the gameplan more after this performance.

Leon Washington split the first-team work with Kevan Barlow at Thursday's practice, the New York Daily News reports. With Cedric Houston (calf) very questionable at best for Monday - the paper says he's unlikely to play - Washington should be looking at double-digit touches Monday night, with more possible if he shows something early. Of course the Jets are always very secretive about their game plans and rotation plans, so Washington certainly comes with a downside to be concerned with, too.

Leon Washington, Cedric Houston and Kevan Barlow all received reps at Thursday's practice, according to the Newark Star-Ledger. It's possible all three could dress Sunday against the Bills, though Houston's strong effort last week at Green Bay probably is enough to give him the starting nod.

Jets coach Eric Mangini said that the rotation between Leon Washington, Cedric Houston and Kevan Barlow will be evaluated week to week, according to Newsday. "I'm pretty content with the competition and the work that they do and the ability to play each guy to their strengths, play him within the package," Mangini said yesterday. "To me, practice is very important, and it's going to continue to affect the game and who plays." Washington picked up 40 yards and a score on seven carries in Week 13.
