Wide receiver Rashied Davis had four catches for 41 yards and touchdown in the Week 6 loss to Atlanta.

Our View:The improved play of quarterback Kyle Orton is increasing the value of the Bears' wideouts. Over the past two games, Davis has compiled 10 receptions for 138 yards and a score.

Bears wide receiver Rashied Davis played more snaps (48) than any other Chicago receiver Week 1, and the team will continue to look for ways to utilize him, especially in the slot, according to Sporting News Today.

Our View:Davis did not have the most productive game, with just two catches for 10 yards, but the fact that he was on the field so much bodes well for him and his fantasy stock. Unfortunately, the Kyle Orton is the team's quarterback, and just how effective in the passing game he will be remains to be seen.

Rashied Davis caught four passes for 58 yards and two touchdowns Thursday night against the 49ers.

Our View:Davis was targeted early and often. Without a true number one receiver on the roster, Davis made a case that he wants to be the go-to-guy in Chicago.

Rashied Davis has been the Bears' best receiver so far through the off-season, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Our View:The Bears lack a true number one receiver, especially following the departure of vertical threat Bernard Berrian and crafty vet Muhsin Muhammad, meaning Davis has a shot to hold down that role. He is undersized at 5-9 187 pounds, and would be better suited for the slot, however. The Bears' aerial attack could crash and burn this season, when you also factor in that either the erratic Rex Grossman or Kyle Orton is going to be the starting quarterback.

The Bears have re-signed Rashied Davis to a three-year deal on Wednesday, according to the AP. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Our View:He will likely get more passes thrown his way with Bernard Berrian departed to Minnesota, but probably not enough to make a significant fantasy impact, as Devin Hester is also going to see a higher percentage of passes thrown his way this season. His fantasy value remains marginal.
