According to TNsports on Twitter, Titans quarterback Vince Young has been named to the AFC Pro Bowl roster.

Our View:Young didn't have a landmark season as far as his personal numbers are concerned, but he showed the NFL that he still knows how to win. He led the Titans to an 8-2 record, after they started out 0-6 with Kerry Collins as the signal caller, and very nearly got them into the playoffs. Congrats to Vince, as he's earned the honor and a free trip to Miami.

Titans coach Jeff Fisher announced on Monday that Vince Young will be the team's starting quarterback in 2010, according to the Nashville Tennessean.

Our View:After starting off the 2009 season 0-6, Tennessee went 8-2 down the stretch in games started by Young, so Fisher's proclamation is not a surprise. While he still managed to lay a few eggs, Young showed a marked improvement as a pocket passer this season, and now with the opportunity to go through the offseason knowing he's the team's number one, he could be in line for a big 2010.

Vince Young was 17-of-28 for 171 yards, no scores and an interception in Sunday's 17-13 win over the Seahawks.

Our View:Young took a backseat to Chris Johnson and his record-setting efforts, but no one will forget the turnaround he captained in Tennessee. Thanks largely to his efforts the Titans finished 8-8 after starting the season 0-6 under Kerry Collins. Young should be locked in as the starter next season.

Vince Young struggled in tonight's 42-17 loss to the Chargers at LP Field, as he only completed 8-of-21 passes for 89 yards, with no touchdowns and two interceptions. He also rushed six times for 40 yards and a touchdown.

Our View:Young helped generate some points for fantasy owners with his nimble feet, but was a grave disappointment as a passer. He will try to get back on track in the regular season finale at Seattle, in his bid to convince the Titans that he should be their quarterback for 2010 and beyond.
December 20, 2009
Vince Young completed 14-of-27 passes for 236 yards with three touchdowns against one interception in the Week 16 victory over Miami.

Our View:In eight starts this season, Young is now 7-1 with 11 touchdowns (10 pass, 1 rush) against four interceptions, bringing Tennessee back from the dead and into playoff contention. He's making a case for the organization to keep him around as the starter in 2010. However, Young is due approximately $23 million over the next two seasons, which will make it an interesting decision from a financial perspective. Next up, Tennessee faces the Bolts who rank ninth in fantasy points allowed to the quarterback position.
