Reggie Bush will remain with the Saints at a salary of $8MM for 2010, according to ProFootballTalk.com.

Our View:That price is steep for a backup running back, but he is a fan favorite and is a threat to score every time he touches the ball. The team is hanging onto him while they defend their Super Bowl title in 2010.

The New Orleans Times-Picayune believes that Reggie Bush will likely remain with the Saints, despite his $8MM salary for 2010.

Our View:The club should talk to Bush about restructuring his contract, and adding an extension. Bush is a fan favorite, and it would be hard to ship him out of town after helping lead the club to their first Super Bowl title.

If Reggie Bush is asked to restructure his contract this offseason and refuses, he could be released, according to the Detroit News.

Our View:Were that to be the case, the Lions are said to be interested, as are the Seahawks and 49ers. Fresh off their first Super Bowl win in franchise history, though, we're thinking the Saints are going to keep him. Stay tuned.

Reggie Bush picked up just eight yards on seven carries as the Saints defeated the Vikings for the NFC Championship. He also caught two passes for 33 yards and a touchdown.

Our View:Bush also fumbled a punt away that should have led to Vikings' points but they also turned it over. Bush continues to most of his damage through the air with the exception of some big carries last week.

Despite dealing with the flu, Reggie Bush says he will be fine for Sunday's NFC Championship game, according to Pro Football Talk.

Our View:While it is nice to know he will most likely be fine for Sunday's all-important game, it just wouldn't be Bush if he wasn't somehow not at 100 percent. Expect him to have a nice day, but likely not as good as last week, where he rushed for 84 yards against the Cardinals.

Reggie Bush helped carry the Saints in today's 45-14 playoff win over the Cardinals at the Superdome, as he led the ground attack with 84 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. He also caught four passes for 24 receiving yards.

Our View:Bush also scored another touchdown on an 83-yard punt return. He may have been a bit quiet in the regular season, but broke out at the right time for New Orleans.
