Detroit head coach Jim Schwartz noted that he would consider signing Adam Jones, according to MLive.com.

Our View:Jones has a long record of off-the-field issues, but there is no denying he is capable of being a great cornerback when focused on football. He would be worth a look as a flier for Detroit, as there is nowhere to go but up after ranking 32nd in pass defense in 2009.

Updating a previous report, Adam Jones did end up working out for several NFL teams in New Orleans after all on Friday, according to Pro Football Talk.

Our View:Apparently the reporter for the Times Picayune who reported the no-show was in the wrong spot. Pacman was there all along and is currently working out for five teams. He may have a shot after all.

According to the New Orleans Times Picayune, Adam Jones didn't show up for his scheduled workout on Friday.

Our View:Pacman had the workout scheduled for over a month, and so far no one has been able to uncover a legitimate excuse as to why he flaked. A good number of teams were supposed to be there, so if something doesn't come back about him having a good reason for not showing there is going to be a crowd of upset NFL people. This could be the straw that breaks the camel's back and ends Pacman's career for good.

The National Football Post reports that Adam Jones is slated to work out for NFL scouts on March 19th in New Orleans.

Our View:Pacman is trying to resurrect his NFL career once again, but we're not holding our collective breath. He has been out of the league since 2008 due to his unruly off-field behavior and can't seem to take his job seriously. He worked out for the Bengals earlier in the month, but apparently wasn't fit or impressive on any level. Don't expect him to wow anyone.

According to Yahoo! Sports, the Bengals have passed on Adam Jones after an unimpressive workout last week.

Our View:As expected, Jones showed up to the workout not ready to work out. He failed to impress physically and offered a laundry list of lame excuses about his troubled past and off field issues. If the Bengals don't want him, we don't think anyone will. Looks like Pacman may have run out of options.
