Vincent Jackson will play in this weekend's divisional playoff game at Pittsburgh, according to the Associated Press.

Our View:His DUI arrest this week will not prevent him from playing, and will not likely face disciplinary action until the 2009 season. Jackson broke out with 1,098 yards this season and has passed Chris Chambers as the Chargers' No. 1 receiver.

Chargers wideout Vincent Jackson, who was recently arrested for DUI, cannot be suspended by the NFL, according to Adam Schefter of NFL.com, and any action taken against him for this week's playoff game would have to come from the Chargers.

Our View:The Chargers may choose to do absolutely nothing, but they do have the right. The NFL must wait for the legal process to be complete.

Vincent Jackson has been arrested on suspicion of a DUI, according to 10-News San Diego. Jackson was arrested by the California Highway Patrol early Tuesday morning at Highway 52 and Interstate 805.

Our View:Jackson has passed Chris Chambers as the Chargers' No. 1 receiver, and it remains to be seen if the club will decide to discipline him prior to a playoff game at Pittsburgh Sunday.

Vincent Jackson has replaced speed demon Chris Chambers as the Chargers' No. 1 receiver, according to Scout.com.

Our View:Jackson is a favorite of coach Norv Turner, and broke out this season with 59 receptions for 1,098 yards and seven touchdowns. He could continue to rise in 2009, and will be aiming to lead the Chargers past the Colts in the first-round of the playoffs this weekend.
