After not getting dealt before Tuesday's trade deadline, Roscoe Parrish has now been stripped of Buffalo's punt return duties, according to the Buffalo News.

Our View:It's clear that Parrish is no longer in Buffalo's plans in any way, shape or form. Fred Jackson will take over as the team's primary punt returner.

Roscoe Parrish is expected to still be a Bill after the Tuesday afternoon trade deadline passes, according to Pro Football Talk.

Our View:The Bills could apparently find no takers after weeks of trying. In five games this season, Parrish has just one catch.

Week 6 inactives: QB Gibran Hamdan (3rd), WR Roscoe Parrish, SS Brian Scott, DB Todd Johnson, CB Ellis Lankster, RB Xavier Omon, OT Jonathan Scott and DE Chris Ellis.

Our View:WR Josh Reed (fibula) is active and will play in multiple receiver sets. On defense, the Bills get some good news with the return of LB Paul Posluszny (forearm), who is active and will start in the middle. Also, LB Keith Ellison (knee), FS Donte Whitner (thumb) and CB Terrance McGee (knee) are all active and will start.

Roscoe Parrish was limited in today's practice while nursing a sore thigh, according to the Bills' official website.

Our View:Parrish is a good punt returner, but holds little fantasy value as a backup receiver.

Roscoe Parrish apparently has no obvious roster spot on the Bills, and could be traded or released, according to the Buffalo News.

Our View:Despite his electrifying return abilities, Parrish just doesn't fit in a receiving corps that also includes Terrell Owens, Lee Evans and Josh Reed. He would be the Bills' seventh receiver were he to stay (due to circumstance, not talent), and many teams could use a good return man. Look for him to be wearing a different uniform in Week 1.
