January 2, 2010 Placekicker Mike Nugent has been waived by the Cardinals, according to Brad Biggs of the Our View:Nugent was no longer needed, as Neil Rackers has recovered from his groin injury. |

December 16, 2009 The Cardinals signed Mike Nugent on Wednesday, according to the Our View:Nugent will serve as a temporary replacement for Neil Rackers, who has been dealing with a groin injury. The Cardinals do boast a solid offensive attack, but keep in mind that Nugent was just 2-of-6 on field goal tries with the Buccaneers earlier this season before getting cut. |
