The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette believes Heath Miller's production could decrease in 2008. Twelve players have caught passes in the Steelers' two preseason games, but Miller was not one of them. Miller said, "I've been out on some routes. As always, the coverage kind of dictates where the ball goes. It's not like I've taken a lot of snaps so far, so I'm not really concerned about it."

Our View:The team drafted wide receiver Limas Sweed, who will provide Ben Roethlisberger with a big target, namely in the red zone. Santonio Holmes is on the verge of a breakout campaign and Mewelde Moore should be active as a pass-catcher as a third-down back, meaning Miller is not likely to top the 47 receptions he made in 2007. He will still be productive enough to rank as a top-10 fantasy tight end.

Heath Miller was effective in Saturday's loss to Jacksonville, rolling up eight catches for 85 yards and a touchdown. This strong playoff showing comes on the heels of a breakthrough year for Miller; he set career marks for catches, yards and touchdowns (50-586-7) in 2007.

Heath Miller pulled in four passes for 35 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's opener. He teased us last season with a big first game, but don't think for a second that he can't make this sort of production a regular thing. He has a lot of talent, and the Steelers are going to look to him far more often in the post-Cowher regime. If you ended up without a top-end tight end, give Miller a shot.

Rookie tight end Heath Miller scored a touchdown for the third straight game on Sunday and also set a career-high with six receptions. He finished with 58 yards. His numbers are especially impressive given the fact that Ben Roethlisberger completed only nine passes for the game.

Steelers rookie tight end Heath Miller set career highs with four receptions and 72 yards on Sunday. Miller also scored a touchdown for the second straight game.
