The San Diego Chargers have re-signed wide receiver Malcom Floyd to an undisclosed contract, according to ESPN. Floyd is a part-time special teamer, who is mired on the Chargers’ wide receiver depth chart.

Malcom Floyd caught five passes for 65 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's preseason opener. He could have had an even bigger night if he had not dropped an easy ball early in the second quarter, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. Floyd is an option to start in place of the injured Eric Parker.

The Chargers placed Malcom Floyd on IR Thursday with an ankle injury, according to the Sports Network. Floyd played in 12 games this season, catching 15 passes for 210 yards and three TDs.
