Patrick Crayton is slated to return punts this weekend against Seattle in place of the injured Allen Rossum (pulled hamstring), according to the Dallas Morning News.

Our View:Crayton averages 12.8 yards over 13 punt returns this season, and he will hold extra value this weekend in fantasy leagues that award points for return yards on special teams.

Patrick Crayton is none-too-pleased about the manner in which the Cowboys informed him he had been replaced in the starting lineup by Miles Austin, according to ESPN.

Our View:Their supposed method? Not telling him at all, but letting him figure it out for himself on the practice field. The Cowboys have of course claimed he was told in a meeting about the move, but with coach Wade Phillips in charge of such a thing, it's definitely a possibility he was not.

Wide receiver Patrick Crayton reeled in four receptions for 135 yards and one touchdown in the Week 1 win over Tampa Bay.

Our View:The Cowboys passing game was in rare form, and Crayton led the way with an 80-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter. Things will likely get tougher next week with the New York Giants coming to town.

In addition to being the Cowboys' projected number two reciever this season, The Dallas Morning News reports that Patrick Crayton will return punts as well.

Our View:Felix Jones apparently cannot filed the ball cleanly on punts. This doesn't really enhance Crayton's value, but he should be a great depth receiver in most leagues, if not starter.

The Dallas Morning News is reporting that the battle to be the second wide receiver for the Cowboys is over, with Patrick Crayton being the winner. "Patrick is the guy right now. Patrick is having a very good camp, and I think the guys are really in tune," said receivers coach Ray Sherman.

Our View:Crayton looks like a nice sleeper option for the upcoming fantasy season, but he will still be third in line for catches behind Roy Williams and Jason Witten. Crayton will make his share of plays, and he could benefit from extra attention to Williams.
