The Dallas Morning News Jason Witten says that Patrick Crayton "looks faster, more explosive." Crayton worked on his running form and hand eye coordination in the offseason, and he is battling Miles Austin and Sam Hurd for he No. 2 receiver job.

Our View:Crayton has a lot of sleeper value this season, but it remains to be seen just how big a part he will play in the Cowboys offense. Not only do they have a strong running game, but both Roy Williams and Jason Witten figure to see a lot more targets than everyone else.

The Associated Press is reporting that Patrick Crayton ran with the first team Tuesday during the Cowboys' OTA session. Miles Austin worked with the second team.

Our View:Crayton looks to be the number two receiver on the depth chart behind Roy Williams, but he is still the third option behind Williams and Jason Witten. Look for Crayton to be the number two with Miles Austin and Sam Hurd next on the depth chart this season.

According to the Dallas Morning News, the cousin of Cowboys' wide receiver Patrick Crayton is missing. "Brannon Crayton, who is 25 and autistic, was last seen on Coit Road in Richardson Wednesday between 3:30 and 4 p.m., according to Crayton's agent Fred Lyles."

Our View:We wish nothing but the best for the Crayton family in this situation. We will update this story as more information is released.

Patrick Crayton underwent arthroscopic surgery on his ankle Tuesday, according to the Cowboys' official website.

Our View:He should be recovered before the onset of training camp. Crayton should serve as a solid slot receiver in 2009 alongside starters Terrell Owens and Roy Williams.

Patrick Crayton caught two passes for 16 yards and a touchdown in the Week 12 victory over San Francisco.

Our View:In the last four games, Crayton has compiled seven receptions for 75 yards and one score. With Tony Romo back in the fold, Crayton is a marginal flex option in basic scoring leagues.
