Tight end Kris Wilson and offensive lineman Kynan Forney have signed with the San Diego Chargers, according to Pro Football Weekly.

Our View:Wilson holds limited fantasy value, and is behind tight ends Antonio Gates (assuming he is healthy) and Brandon Manumaleuna on the depth chart.

The Philadelphia Inquirer believes Kris Wilson will beat out Matt Schobel for the Eagles' No. 3 spot at tight end. Wilson would back up starter LJ Smith and primary backup Brent Celek.

Our View:Wilson could compete for a starting spot in 2009 if LJ Smith hits free agency, but he isn't expected to hold any fantasy value for 2008.

Kris Wilson signed with the Philadelphia Eagles under the premise that he will be utilized mainly at the tight end position, according to the Delaware News Journal. Incumbent L.J. Smith will start in Philadelphia, so Wilson will presumably battle with second-year pro Brent Celek and veteran Matt Schobel for the two remaining slots on the roster, since the Eagles usually keep three tight ends. With Smith all but guaranteed to hit free agency after the 2008 season, Wilson could vie for a starting position in 2009 - an enticing prospect for the Lancaster, Pa., native and childhood Eagles fan.

The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to terms with tight end Kris Wilson, according to Pro Football Talk. The deal is reportedly for three-years, but the financial terms are undisclosed. Wilson is a hybrid type, who can play tight end, fullback and H-back, but is expected to fill the traditional fullback role in Philly.
