Kevin Jones is doubtful for Sunday's game at Houston due to an ailing hamstring, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Our View:Jones handled a mere 34 rushing attempts over 11 games this season, and only held value to the Bears on special teams coverage.

Bears inactives: QB Caleb Hanie, RB Kevin Jones, FB Jason McKie, OG Terrence Metcalf, DT Matt Toeaina, WR Brandon Rideau, WR Marty Booker, DE Ervin Baldwin.

Our View:Chicago's Adrian Peterson will back up Matt Forte at running back again.

Bob LeGere of the Daily Herald believes the gameplan for the Bears Sunday against Detroit will be to keep the ball on the ground, which could result in more opportunities for Kevin Jones. LeGere expects Matt Forte to get his usual 20-plus touches, but in order to keep Calvin Johnson and Roy Williams off the field, Jones could see significant action against his former team.

Our View:Jones has been involved very little since Week 1, as he has just seven carries for 26 yards over the last three weeks. We wouldn't expect more than 10 carries, making him a suspect play even in deep leagues.

Chicago running back Kevin Jones has hired NFL super-agent Drew Rosenhaus to represent him, according to NFL.com.

Our View:Jones will be a free agent after his one-year deal with the Bears is up, so Rosenhaus will try to help Jones cash in if he performs well.

Kevin Jones showed well in the Bears Sunday night win over the Colts. The veteran carried the ball 13 times for 45 yards in relief of rookie starter Matt Forte.

Our View:The Forte/Jones combo appear to be a complimentary team. Jones' value, however, rests in deep formats that start three running backs and/or a flex.
