Bills quarterback J.P. Losman had a solid game on Sunday, completing 13-of-19 passes for 108 yards in Buffalo's 20-7 win over the Colts.

Our View:Losman still figures to be the backup behind Trent Edwards, who completed one pass on one attempt for the evening. His fantasy value is nil because of that.

The Bills welcomed quarterback J.P. Losman back to practice today after missing time on the practice field with a jammed thumb, according to CBSSports.com.

Our View:Losman missed only one practice after jamming his right thumb when striking a teammate's helmet while attempting a pass in practice Monday. He's hoping to fight for attention though all indications point to Trent Edwards as the starter for the Bills this season.

The Bills are holding quarterback J.P. Losman out of practice today (and possibly for the next few) after jamming his thumb on his throwing hand, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

Our View:Losman's right thumb was heavily wrapped as he watched practice, but the extent of the injury was not immediately known. Losman indicated earlier in the day that the injury wasn't severe. Losman was hurt following through on a pass attempt, when his thumb struck a teammate during the Bills' first practice in full pads Monday.

Former Cincinnati Bengals head coach and Bills quarterbacks coach Sam Wyche thinks J.P. Losman is too talented to sit, and should be moved to a team willing to play him, according to buffalobills.com. "Those teams are out there and the best thing that his agent can do for him is try to find that team and get him there,” Wyche said.

Our View:Losman's talent has never been questioned, but he has not shown the ability to put it all together quite yet. He had a pretty good 2006 season, completing over 62% of his passes and throwing 19 touchdowns to 14 interceptions. With the shoddy quarterback situations around the league, you would think some team would be interested in giving him a chance to compete for a starting spot.

J.P. Losman attended the opening day of Bills' minicamp, but he did not practice, according to ESPN Insider.

Our View:Losman lost the starting gig at quarterback to Trent Edwards, and Losman wants to leave Buffalo, especially since he is in the final year of his contract with the team. He is attending camp just to avoid fines. Losman will serve as Edwards' backup if he isn't traded.
