He's coming off back surgery from December, but you can bet that someone will give him a chance due to his fine size and potential if he can just stay injury free. |

December 3, 2009 Shawn Andrews underwent back surgery for the second time in two years today, according to Brad Biggs of the Our View:He underwent a two-level microscopic lumbar discectomy in California, and the procedure was performed by Dr. Robert Watkins. The operation went well, and the former elite guard is believed to have a good chance of returning to the gridiron following a rehab program. |

September 22, 2009 According to the Our View:Andrews was injured in Week 2 last season, and looked to be on his way back before hurting his back during a fitness run at the start of training camp. The loss is a blow to the Eagles, but at least he should know more about his future after meeting with the doctor. |
