The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting that Ben Roethlisberger took the field with his teammates on Thursday and practiced after leaving Wednesday's practice with a knee injury. Roethlisberger wore a black wrap around the knee, but it was precautionary.

Our View:Big Ben is fine, so Steelers' fans can rest easy. The wrap was just a precaution, and if there was anything remotely wrong with the knee he wouldn't have been out there. He will be fine going forward.

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Ben Roethlisberger left Wednesday's practice with a knee injury.

Our View:Big Ben limped off the field in the middle of practice after tweaking the knee and was helped by the Steelers' trainer. He and the team declined to talk about the injury, but it doesn't seem overly serious.

Ben Roethlisberger shot down the rumor that he has skin cancer, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The rumor was posted on a fake facebook page and Roethlisberger said, "There is no truth to it. I do not have any of that stuff (meaning cancer and a facebook page)."

Our View:He was asked by many people about the rumor, and he made it clear that he does not have a social networking page, like facebook.

It has been revealed that Ben Roethlisberger played with at least two fractured ribs in Super Bowl XLIII, according to Peter King of Sports Illustrated.

Our View:That explains why he underwent X-rays during Super Bowl week. He should be fine by training camp as he attempts to earn his third Super Bowl ring in 2009.

The AP reports that Ben Roethlisberger confessed to David Letterman that he thought his game-winning touchdown pass was going to be intercepted. According to him, Santonio Holmes was his third read on the play. "I thought I blew it," said Big Ben on the Late Show.

Our View:Roethlisberger has an uncanny ability to make us shake our heads. For one, why is his best receiver his third read with the Super Bowl on the line? And secondly, why throw the football if you think it's going to be an interception? Regardless, his angels were busy again on Sunday and all worked out for the best. Roethlisberger was awarded his second Super Bowl victory with a 27-23 win over the Cardinals.
