November 16, 2008 The Steelers showed why they have the best passing defense in the league Sunday, as they held Philip Rivers to just 159 yards while picking him off twice in a hard fought 11-10 Pittsburgh victory. Our View:This breaks a string of 16 straight games with at least one TD pass for Philip, and he had thrown multiple TDs in his last four contests. |

November 9, 2008 Philip Rivers threw for his fourth 300 yard game in the Chargers' 20-19 win over the Chiefs. Rivers completed 27-of-36 passes for 316 yards and two touchdown. Our View:Rivers has now thrown for 21 touchdown passes to only eight interceptions. |

October 26, 2008 Quarterback Philip Rivers completed 25-of-40 passes for 341 yards and three touchdowns in the Week 8 loss to the Saints. He also threw an interception late in the fourth quarter. Our View:Rivers has tossed three touchdowns in five of the Bolts' eight games, and he leads the NFL with 19 scoring strikes. Let's hope he can keep this up after the Week 9 bye. |
