Larry Fitzgerald had to come out of Sunday's game late because his hamstring acted up on him, but he doesn't expect to miss any time this week, according to the East Valley Tribune. "The hamstring was getting so tired," said Fitzgerald. "It didn't feel the same way when I did it against the Chiefs, but it didn't feel good. I didn't want to be down for a couple more weeks without being there with my teammates."

Larry Fitzgerald is expected to return from his hamstring injury Sunday, but he will probably play only about half the snaps, according to the Arizona Republic. "We would not expect him to play on every down," coach Dennis Green said. "I think he can go in and make catches and make plays for us. But normally coming off a hamstring, a player would play about 50 percent of the time. He can do a lot to help us in 50 percent of the time." Fitzgerald has been out since Week 5.

The Cardinals have a bye in Week 9, so Week 10 seems like the most likely return for Fitzgerald, though Week 8 might be possible. Bryant Johnson will replace Fitzgerald in the starting lineup, with Troy Walters moving up to the No. 3 spot.

"I couldn't even straighten my leg out, so I knew I (couldn't) continue," he said. More should be known about his injury following an MRI today.
