Eric Steinbach missed Wednesday's practice while dealing with his rib injury, according to the Browns' official website.

Our View:He hasn't been ruled out for Week 11, and the team will see how his ailment responds over the next few days. The Browns don't battle the Bills until Monday night, giving the elite guard more time to recover.

Eric Steinbach was considered very questionable due to his sprained shoulder, but made a surprise start at Cincinnati, according to the Akron Beacon Journal.

Our View:He worked hard all week to get ready, and had the added motivation of playing against the team that let him go. He is an elite guard, and helped guide the team to their first win. Braylon Edwards also scored his first touchdown of the season.

Guard Eric Steinbach downplayed an ESPN.com report that he'll miss 3-5 weeks with a separated shoulder according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. He admitted only to a sore shoulder and sounded optimistic about being back soon. As for facing his former Bengals, he was limited Friday and is listed as questionable. "I'd love to come back and play the old team, but an injury's an injury," he said.

Our View:Last week marked only the second game of his six-year career that he hasn't started. "It killed me to miss last week," he said. "That's why I'm trying to get back." Expect the guard to be back next week, not this week.
