December 13, 2008 Due to a sprained foot, and also to open up a spot on the roster, the 49ers placed receiver Arnaz Battle on injured reserve, ending his season, according to Our View:San Francisco needed a roster spot to get running back Thomas Clayton on the active roster. Battle has not been productive enough to warrant fantasy consideration this season, with just 24 receptions. |
