November 16, 2008
Week 11 inactives: Brooks Bollinger, RB Felix Jones, DB Quincy Butler, LB Bobby Carpenter, G Montrae Holland, G Joe Berger, OT Doug Free, WR Isaiah Stanback.

Our View:Tony Romo, Jason Witten and Terence Newman are all playing, as expected.
November 3, 2008
ESPN is reporting that Brooks Bollinger has surpassed Brad Johnson as the Cowboys' No. 2 quarterback.

Our View:The move is nearly irrelevant now as Tony Romo will likely take over at quarterback in Week 11 after the Cowboys' bye. Bollinger is 9-for-16 this season with a touchdown and an interception.
November 2, 2008
Brooks Bollinger was fairly solid after entering the game against the Giantsin the second half. Bollinger went nine for sixteen with one touchdown and interception each. He passed for a total of 63 yards in this stretch.

Our View:Bollinger might be the Cowboys' starter in their next game, as faith in Brad Johnson was waning even before Sunday's meltdown. The Cowboys have a bye next week, and are hoping that starter Tony Romo can return then, which still could leave Bollinger as the backup.
November 2, 2008
Brooks Bollinger has been called into action in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Giants. Brad Johnson got the hook after throwing two interceptions over 11 passes.

Our View:We will keep you updated on Bollinger's performance following the game.
November 2, 2008
Brooks Bollinger is standing by in case Brad Johnson continues to struggle today in a key NFC East showdown with the Giants, according to the Star-Telegram.

Our View:Johnson has failed to stretch the field due to a declining arm, and Bollinger would be an considerable upgrade, and his mobility would come in handy while dealing with a relentless Giants' pass rush.
