The Texans have re-signed Eugene Wilson to a three-year deal, according to the Houston Chronicle. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Our View:Wilson proved to be a solid free safety for the Texans last season, and he provides the versatility to work at cornerback if needed.

Eugene Wilson left the Texnas Monday night football game against the Jaguars with an undisclosed injury.

Our View:There is no official word from the Texans about the status of Wilson.

Our View:Ahman Green is active and will backup Steve Slaton again this week. Also, cornerback Dunta Robinson is active for the first time this year, after missing the first six weeks due to knee and hamstring injuries.

Eugene Wilson is expected to sign a deal with the Texans after being released by the Buccaneers, according to the Houston Chronicle. Offensive lineman Brandon Frye has been placed on waivers to make room for Wilson on the roster.

Our View:Wilson won two Super Bowls with the Patriots and would provide versatility to play either safety or cornerback. The Texans only kept four cornerbacks on their 53-man roster.
