Player Notes
September 3, 2008
Jeremi Johnson underwent arthroscopic knee surgery Wednesday, and will be placed on season-ending IR, according to NFL.com.

Our View:Starting running back Chris Perry will now have Daniel Coats as his lead blocker at fullback. If Coats struggles, then tight end Reggie Kelly could see time at fullback.
August 21, 2008
Jeremi Johnson has returned to practice after missing all of training camp with a weight issue, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. O.C. Bob Bratkowski said Johnson has a lot of work to do, and praised the attitude and performance of backup fullback Daniel Coats (who is a converted tight end).

Our View:Even if Johnson resumes his role as the Bengals' starting fullback, he will not likely hold any fantasy value. He only rushed the ball seven times for 25 yards in 2007, with no touchdowns. He made six receptions for 32 yards and one score.
April 15, 2006
Fullback Jeremi Johnson signed a new six-year deal to remain with the Bengals through 2011, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
August 3, 2004
Bengals fullback Jeremi Johnson will miss about another week due to a groin injury, according to the Cincinnati Post.
May 29, 2003
Now that the Bengals have released Mike Green, rookie Jeremi Johnson probably will move into the starting fullback role.
