The Seattle Seahawks have put receiver Billy McMullen on the waived/injured list, according to ESPN.com.

Our View:McMullen fractured his pinkie finger, leading to his exit. McMullen will either get an injury settlement from the team or be placed on IR.
October 17, 2008
The Seattle Times reports that wide receiver Billy McMullen suffered a compound fracture in his right pinky finger and will be out indefinitely.

Our View:This may spur the Seahawks to re-sign Michael Bumpus who they released earlier in the week.
October 11, 2008
The Seattle Seahawks are not happy with how much wideout Billy McMullen struggled last week against the Giants, and he has fallen out of favor with the team, according to Pro Football Weekly.

Our View:McMullen has seven catches for 124 yards in three games on the season, but Bobby Engram has returned, and though Deion Branch is hurting again, when he gets back, that will eat into McMullen's time even more.
September 9, 2008
It has been a rough start for the Seahawks receiving corp already this year, so today they brought in a slew of free-agent receivers. After the tryouts they signed Billy McMullen to help fill some of the void, according to ESPN.com.

Our View:McMullen has played three years with the Eagles and the Vikings. It will be interesting to see who becomes Matt Hasselback go to man the rest of the year.
