Chris Brown got some work late in Sunday's game against the Texans, and he looks to be in line for more work this weekend against the Jaguars, according to the Nashville Tennessean. "There's the chance Chris may get it all by himself this weekend," coach Jeff Fisher said. "We just don't know." Fisher's decision will likely depend on the severity of Travis Henry's ankle injury.

Chris Brown may have to dress this weekend at Washington with LenDale White battling a stomach bug. Travis Henry will remain as the starter either way, but White's status is up in the air after he didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday.

Chris Brown will likely be inactive again in Week 6, unless injuries at other positions create an opening, according to the Nashville Tennessean. Travis Henry and LenDale White will once again shoulder the workload. "Week after week, it's a good problem to have," coach Jeff Fisher said. "Fortunately, we've been able to keep two healthy backs up each week. They're all interchangeable and they're all working hard on the practice field. The offensive players have confidence in all three of the backs."

Chris Brown, who had been questionable with a toe injury, started on Sunday against the Cowboys and carried 12 times for 33 yards. LenDale White got some playing time, as well, rushing for 39 yards on nine carries.

Chris Brown practiced all week despite his sore toe and should be able to play against the Cowboys. He's officially listed as questionable, which is the default designation that head coach Jeff Fisher likes to use. Brown should start, but he'll probably share carries with Travis Henry and maybe LenDale White, and the Titans line probably will struggle against the Cowboys front seven.

Chris Brown suffered a toe injury in the season opener, acccording to the Nashville Tennessean. Head coach Jeff Fisher described it as a "mild, sore turf-toe type" thing. Travis Henry suffered a similar injury, but Brown has a history with this sort of thing. He battled the injury for most of the 2004 season and missed five games.

The Tennessean reports that an agent for Chris Brown left open the possibility yesterday that if Brown could leave training camp at some point if he doesn't get a contract extension or traded. "We are trying to be diplomatic about this," agent Wynn Silberman said. "We are trying to act as professionally as we can and work with (Titans GM) Floyd (Reese) and the Titans, and either coming to a conclusion or an extension is a possibility or not. And if it isn't, we want him out of there. That is where we're at."

Chris Brown has backed off the comments he made last week about wanting a trade, according to the Nashville Tennessean. "I have my agents try to do what's best for me," he said. "They're taking care of business. I have to come out here because I have a job to do. I have to help this team try to win. I'm going to go out, work hard in training camp and try to help us win. I want to be in Tennessee. I want to be in Nashville and I want to stay here." Brown enters camp as the No. 1 back, but his job is no longer secure with the arrival of LenDale White.

The agent for Chris Brown has formally requested a trade, according to the Nashville Tennessean. "We’re kind of looking at the situation down there and we’re not sure he’s a great fit at this point," said agent Wynn Silberman, who took over as Brown’s agent earlier this year. It's unlikely that the Titans will comply with the request.

Chris Brown has asked permission from the Titans for the right to seek a trade, according to the AP. Brown, who is in the last season of his rookie contract, was unhappy when he wasn't offered a contract extension in June, and the problem was compounded by the fact that Tennessee drafted LenDale White. The Titans have not yet given Brown permission to talk to other teams.

The Nashville City Paper reports that one of the things keeping Chris Brown on top of the depth chart at running back for the Titans is his pass-blocking ability. The Titans don't throw a lot of passes to running backs, so a running back's top priority in passing situations is pass protection.
