Anquan Boldin and the Cardinals are reportedly talking again regarding a new contract, according to ProFootballTalk.com.

Our View:It is uncertain if progress has been made in negotiations, but the Cardinals do expect the elite receiver to report for training camp. As previously stated, Boldin is now represented by agent Tom Condon after firing Drew Rosenhaus for failing to gain ground in talks with Arizona.

The Arizona Republic is reporting that the Cardinals are about $2 million under the salary cap after the recent signing of Adrian Wilson. That number leaves very little money left to re-sign receiver Anquan Boldin.

Our View:The general consensus is that the team will wait until next season to extend Boldin, which probably isn't making him very happy right now. The Cards just don't have the money, but the team is working on signing Karlos Dansby, which would free up some cap space. If they don't get that done it is unlikely Boldin will get the money he wants this season.

Anquan Boldin has hired Tom Condon as his new agent after firing Drew Rosenhaus, according to the Associated Press.

Our View:Cardinals' GM Rod Graves noted that he is looking forward to meeting with Condon at some point this month to discuss a new deal for Boldin. Negotiations did not go well with Rosenhaus as Boldin's rep.

Agent Drew Rosenhaus is hopeful that he will retain Anquan Boldin as a client after the star receiver decided to fire him, according to ProFootballTalk.com. Rosenhaus said, "I am still hopeful that we can work things out."

Our View:There is belief that Boldin will replace Rosenhaus with agent Tom Condon. As for now, nothing has changed regarding a new deal for Boldin with the Cardinals.

According to the Arizona Republic, Anquan Boldin has yet to report to any of the team's voluntary workouts.

Our View:Looks like Boldin isn't backing down. He fired his agent, which many people though was because he was getting close to giving in to the Cardinals, but that doesn't seem to be the case. The Cardinals coaching staff doesn't seem to be too concerned with his absence though.
