Larry Johnson has had a ton of work this preseason and that will not change tonight in the Chiefs final tune-up before the regular season. According to the Kansas City Star Johnson has carried the ball 35 times and has only averaged 3.3 yards per carry.

Our View:Even though Johnson has had a poor preseason and is a legitimate first round pick and if he can stay healthy will be one of the best backs in the league.

Larry Johnson rushed 14 times for 61 yards in Saturday's preseason loss to the Cardinals.

Our View:It doesn't look like Herm Edwards has any intention of lightening LJ's load this year, although Kolby Smith did see some third-down work during Johnson's drives.

Chiefs running back Larry Johnson got a solid amount of work, rushing eight times for 18 yards in Kansas City's first preseason game.

Our View:Johnson didn't have great numbers, but he will get plenty of carries in the season, and those are the ones fantasy owners care about.

Larry Johnson will get some carries during the preseason, according to the Kansas City Star. “He’ll have to play in the preseason, get his carries and his runs and his timing with the offensive line,” coach Herm Edwards said.

Our View:We saw what happened after Johnson missed the majority of last years preseason. Staying healthy and getting on the same page as the rest of the offense will be key if LJ wants to return to glory.

Larry Johnson sat out of Sunday's practice, but fully participated in the first two days of mini-camp, according to Chiefs.com.

Our View:The team is just being cautious, and he has reportedly recovered favorably from his foot injury. He practiced for four-straight days prior to Sunday.
