August 7, 2008 Ravens quarterback Kyle Boller did not have a good start to the preseason. Though he completed 11-of-15 passes for 102 yards, he also threw an interception and lost a fumble as the Ravens beat New England. Our View:None of the Ravens quarterbacks had a stellar evening, but turnovers have been Boller's problem, and he certainly didn't prove he could hold onto the ball today. |

August 5, 2008 Kyle Boller will start at quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens in their preseason opener against the New England Patriots, according to the Our View:Coach John Harbaugh gave Boller the edge because of his experience, but look for the competition to heat up between Boller, Smith, and Flacco, as week one approaches. |

July 31, 2008 Ravens quarterback Kyle Boller left the team's practice in the morning after suffering an apparent foot injury, but he was back on the field for the afternoon session, according to the Our View:Boller is one of three candidates fighting to become the Ravens starter at QB, so he needs to stay healthy and get as many reps as he possibly can. |

July 30, 2008 Kyle Boller's efficient play early in training camp has enhanced his chance to win the Ravens' starting quarterback job, according to Our View:There is little doubt Boller has helped his stock by limiting his errors early on. Of course, much can change in Baltimore's four preseason games, and the quarterbacks' performances in those games will be given significant weight by the coaching staff. |
