Willis McGahee was held to three yards on eight carries in the Bills' blowout loss to the Patriots in Week 14. McGahee has not scored in seven straight games.

Willis McGahee missed practice on Friday with an illness but was not added to the injury report, according to the AP. McGahee is expected to play on Sunday against the Patriots, against whom he ran for 136 yards earlier this season.

Willis McGahee was held out of practice for the second straight day Tuesday after appearing to hurt his right knee in Saturday's preseason game against the Colts, according to the Buffalo News. Coach Mike Mularkey said McGahee was held out as a precautionary measure. McGahee is expected to play in Saturday's preseason game against Green Bay.

Willis McGahee sat out of practice on Monday with his right thigh heavily wrapped, according to the Democrat and Chronicle. He appeared to injure the leg in Saturday's preseason game. "I'm just being cautious with him," Bills coach Mike Mularkey said. "He doesn't need the work tonight. ... There's no reason, if it's a tweak, on a Monday, when you have a preseason game not until Saturday. It's a cautionary move."
