Jeff Reed scored all the points in the Steelers' Week 10 loss to the Bengals. He hit field goals of 28, 33, 34 and 35 yards.

Our View:The four short field goals tell the story of the game. The Steelers could not punch it into the end zone when they got close, and it's tough to win when you settle for threes.

Jeff Reed will kick for the Steelers this Sunday despite his recent arrest for taking a "fighting stance" with police officers, amongst other things, according to ESPN.

Our View:Reed sure causes a lot of trouble - never a good thing for a kicker. Hines Ward getting in trouble would be one thing for the Steelers' brass, but a kicker? Don't expect the team to put up with much more nonsense from their placekicker.

According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Jeff Reed has a slightly sprained ankle and may miss Saturday's preseason game.

Our View:Reed apparently stepped in a hole during practice last week and injured the ankle, but he was still able to perform his kicking duties in the last preseason game against the Redskins. Even if the Steelers hold him out of Saturday's contest, he should be fine for the regular season.

Jeff Reed plead guilty to charges of disorderly contest and criminal mischief on Friday, according to the Associated Press. He'll be fined $543.50.

Our View:Apparently Peyton Manning isn't the only one that has to deal with idiot kickers. Luckily for Reed, the charges are similar in severity to traffic violations, so it will be over and done with as soon as he pays the fine.

Jeff Reed was cited by police for disorderly conduct and criminal mischief for damaging a paper towel dispenser at a convenience store, according to the Associated Press.

Our View:Reed's charges are similar to the severity of traffic violations, so this shouldn't be too much of a distraction for the defending Super Bowl Champions.
