The Lions signed Darian Barnes on Tuesday. He played three games earlier this year for the Bills before being released.

Our View:Barnes will fill in for Jerome Felton, who is would with a high ankle sprain.

Darian Barnes has been released by the Bills, according to the AP. Fullback Corey McIntyre was signed to fill his spot on the roster.

Our View:Barnes was let go after he sustained a sprained foot against Oakland in Week 3 and missed Sunday's game at St. Louis. Prior to getting hurt, he performed well as the lead blocker for Marshawn Lynch.

Bills fullback Darian Barnes is participating in practice Thursday, according to BuffaloBills.com. Barnes did not practice on Wednesday due to a foot injury.

Our View:Barnes is a lead fullback, and his fantasy value is basically non-existent.

Bills fullback Darian Barnes left the Buffalo locker room on crutches Sunday night but on Wednesday was working on the sidelines with trainers. Barnes underwent an MRI on Tuesday and the results were negative, according to Buffalo Bills official web site.

Our View:If Barnes is unable to go against the Rams in Week 4, prime candidates to fill the fullback role will be tight end Derek Schouman or offensive lineman Jason Whittle.

Darian Barnes is slated for an MRI today on his injured foot, according to the Bills' official website. He sustained the injury in the first half of Sunday's game against Oakland.

Our View:He holds no fantasy value and is merely adequate as a fullback.

Darian Barnes has emerged as the favorite to start at fullback, according to buffalobills.com. "He is a physical, more of a straight-line, thumper fullback which is more in line with what we're looking for," said Bills running backs coach Eric Studesville.

Our View:Barnes' value will be as a lead blocker for Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson. The report states that he has the ability to catch the ball, but purely as a dump-off option, so he should not be considered a useful fantasy prospect.
