The Seahawks appear focused on retaining Deion Branch this offseason, according to the Boston Herald's Ian Rapoport.

Our View:With Nate Burleson set to hit the open market, it makes sense that the Seattle would try to hold on to Branch. If healthy, he could make for a decent No. 2 target opposite T.J. Houshmandzadeh.

According to the Boston Herald, Deion Branch would be interested in returning to the Patriots if the Seahawks let him go this year.

Our View:Branch, who finished the 2009 season with 45 catches for 437 yards and two scores, had this to say, "I never wanted to leave, nor did coach (Bill) Belichick and his staff and the organization want me to leave, either. We just couldn't get the contractual part down. And that stuff happens. If the opportunity presents itself to come back, I would love to be there."

Deion Branch led the Seahawks with four catches for 77 yards in Sunday's 17-13 loss to the Titans.

Our View:Tight end John Carlson was the only one to get in the end zone, but Branch had a solid effort despite Matt Hasselbeck's struggles to move the ball consistently. He finished the year with 45 catches for 437 yards and two scores.

Deion Branch caught just one pass in Week 13, but it went for a seven yard touchdown.

Our View:Branch's catch tied the score at seven, and was a big play for the Seahawks in a game they eventually won, but he is not a fantasy option. In ten games this season he has never topped 50 yards and has just two scores.

Deion Branch (hamstring) had a rare full day of practice on Wednesday, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Our View:It looks like he will actually play against the Bears this weekend. Branch has yet to play in 2009, and his days of fantasy relevance are long behind him.
