According to The Washington Post, Ladell Betts will get more touches in 2009 than he did in 2008.

Our View:That won't be hard considering Betts had just 83 in 2008 behind Clinton Portis. With Portis still ahead of him, Betts still won't get enough handles in '09 to warrant a roster spot.

Running back Ladell Betts has stood out at Redskins OTAs according to the Washington Post.

Our View:No matter how well Betts plays in OTAs or training camp, though, we doubt he will stand out during the regular season, even with Redskins starter Clinton Portis beginning to slow down.

Ladell Betts had seven carries for 23 yards and five catches for 43 in the Redskins 10-3 win over the Eagles on Sunday.

Our View:Betts led all Redskins in receiving. He could see more action in the team's final game as they have been eliminated from playoff contention.

Ladell Betts, who has been recovering from a sprained left knee, was able to practice Wednesday, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:Assuming Portis plays Sunday against the Giants, Betts will serve as his primary backup.
November 17, 2008
Redskins running back Ladell Betts said that his previously sprained left knee, which kept him out of action for two games, is okay after carrying the ball once for a single yard and catching two passes for 27 yards, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:Betts said he knew the knee was not 100 percent before game time, but that he suffered no setbacks and should be good to go from here on out.
