Player Notes

Ladell Betts fully practiced today, according to the Cowboys' official website.

Our View:Betts is sore, but is expected to start Sunday's game at rival Dallas. Clinton Portis is still recovering from his concussion.
November 15, 2009
Ladell Betts had 26 carries for 114 yards and one touchdown in the Week 10 victory over Denver.

Our View:A very solid peformance for Betts, who was questionable on the injury report with a knee injury. There are rumors that Clinton Portis could miss substantial time due to effects from his concussion, so Betts could be a solid No. 2 back/flex option over the next few weeks.

FedEx Field is wet, sloppy and in relatively bad shape as we head into Week 10, according to the Denver Post notes.

Our View:Sloppy fields don't tend to bode well for passing attacks, and it can't help Ladell Betts, who is dealing with a sore ankle.

Updating an earlier item, NFL Network's Jason La Canfora confirms that Ladell Betts (ankle) will play on Sunday and serve as Washington's feature back.

Our View:The Redskins are also expected to dole out some carries to Rock Cartwright and Quinton Ganther, but Betts is the man to start in Clinton Portis' absence.
November 14, 2009
Redskins' running back Ladell Betts told the Washington Post on Saturday that he will start for the team on Sunday. Betts was limited all week in practice with an ankle injury.

Our View:Betts said his ankle was a little sore this week, but he is ready to go for tomorrow's game. The team needs him to step up with Clinton Portis out, and he should be good for some fantasy production while getting a majority of the carries.
