November 16, 2008 David Garrard had an ugly day Sunday, completing only 13-of-30 passes while getting picked off in the loss to Tennessee. Our View:Garrard played very poorly in both games against the Titans this year, but you can't hold that totally against him. |

November 9, 2008 Quarterback David Garrard completed 18-of-25 passes for 238 yards, two touchdowns, and no picks in the Week 10 win over the Lions. He also rushed twice for 10 yards. Our View:Garrard hasn't had a particularly good season, but he heated up in the second half last year and might use this performance as a confidence boost. He is an okay fantasy play against weaker opponents. |

October 26, 2008 David Garrard completed 25-of-42 passes for 283 yards and two touchdown passes on Sunday. He added seven carries for 59 yards on the ground. Our View:Just like last season, Garrard is quietly gaining momentum. He has four 200-plus yard games in a row, and over that time he has a 5/0 TD/INT ratio. He has two great matchups ahead at Cincinnati and at Detroit, and he should continue to be worth using. |

October 5, 2008 David Garrard completed 18-of-32 passes for 200 yards and a score in the Jaguars' 26-21 loss to the Steelers. Our View:Garrard was pressured all night against the Steelers and with no running game at all he was forced into a lot of third down and longs. Turning the ball over is still a problem for Garrard who has more interceptions than touchdowns. |

Our View:Garrard, missing 60 percent of his starting offensive line, also carried the ball seven times for 41 yards and a touchdown on the ground. |
