Roy Williams has been placed on injured reserve about battling a forearm injury for most of the season, according to Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Our View:Williams was effective when he played this season, recording 28 tackles in just four games, but just couldn't stay on the field after hurting his forearm. Chinedum Ndukwe is now the Bengals' permanent starter at strong safety.

Bengals' safety Roy Williams returned to full practice on Wednesday, according to the team's official injury report. Williams is dealing with a forarm injury that has caused him to miss the last three games.

Our View:Williams should be good to go this week, which is excellent news for the Bengals as they prep for the biggest game of their season against the Steelers. He is a nice run-stopper from the secondary, which will be nice to have against Rashard Mendenhall.

Roy Williams was limited in practice for the second straight day Thursday while nursing a forearm ailment, according to NFL.com.

Our View:Williams missed the last two games, but looks to have a chance of returning Sunday against rival Baltimore. He is a liability in pass coverage, but would help in run support while the Bengals try to slow down rising star Ray Rice.

Roy Williams was limited in Wednesday's practice while nursing his ailing forearm, according to the Bengals' official website.

Our View:Williams missed the last two games, and is uncertain to return this weekend against Baltimore while coming off the bye.

Roy Williams (forearm) practice for the first time since October 11 on Monday, according to the team.

Our View:Williams has been effective when healthy this season, but has played only three full games. He could be worth a late-season flier at strong safety in IDP leagues if he can ever get back on the field
