The Chargers have released reserve running back Michael Bennett.

Our View:They have decided to keep Darren Sproles, but are still looking pretty thin in the back-field. It's a distinct possibility that they could be drafting a running back this spring.

Running back Michael Bennett is among San Diego's inactive players for its Divisional playoff tilt with the Jets on Sunday, according to the team.

Our View:Also out are defensive end Vaughn Martin, receiver Buster Davis, cornerback Dante Hughes, linebacker Marques Harris, quarterback Charlie Whitehurst, linebacker Dontarrious Thomas and center Eric Ghiaciuc.
