March 8, 2010 The Chiefs have signed Chris Chambers to a three-year, $15 million deal that includes $5.9 million in guarantees. Our View:That seems like a bit much for a receiver set to turn 32 this summer with just one 1,000-yard campaign on his resume. Chambers does, however, still possess nice athleticism and hands and seem capable of filling a No. 2 or 3 receiver role for another year or two. |

February 15, 2010 Re-signing Chris Chambers is believed to be a priority for the Chiefs, according to Bill Williamson of ESPN. Our View:Chambers proved he can still make an impact in the NFL in 2009, as he averaged 16.2 yards per reception. He had a nice chemistry will quarterback Matt Cassel, namely as the club was thin at receiver. |

January 3, 2010 Chris Chambers caught five passes for 80 yards in Sunday's 44-24 win that bounced the Broncos from playoff contention. Our View:Chambers was an afterthought in San Diego, but quickly became Matt Cassel's favorite target when he landed in KC. Four of his five touchdowns and 608 of his 730 yards came in nine games with the Chiefs. |
