March 9, 2010 The Eagles will officially be paying Michael Vick's $1.5 million roster bonus, according to Our View:A somewhat curious move by the Eagles, but one that gives them more time to find the best deal in unloading Vick. Do not expect him to still be in Philadelphia when training camp rolls around. |

March 7, 2010 The Eagles have informed Michael Vick's agent that they'll be picking up his $1.5 million option at some point over the next few days, according to Our View:The Eagles are apparently willing to hold onto Vick in hopes of getting offered a second-round pick in a deal. They're publicly indicating that they plan on keeping all three of their quarterbacks if they aren't overwhelmed with a deal, though we'd still expect at least one of the three to be dealt. |

March 2, 2010 Michael Vick said that the Panthers would be his top choice if he could choose where to play next year, according to the Our View:Jake Delhomme is clearly not an NFL-caliber quarterback anymore, and while Matt Moore did look fine in a late-season debut last year, the Panthers would surely like to at least provide him with some competition heading into the 2010 season. While Carolina has not yet shown any interest in Vick, he'd certainly fit that description and would seem to be a nice fit in Carolina's already run-heavy mindset on offense. |
