Brian Waters practiced for the second straight day Thursday, according to the Kansas City Star. He is dealing with an ankle ailment.

Our View:Waters has a good chance to play in Week 7 against San Diego, but could be hindered by his ankle. He is a solid starting guard when healthy.

Brian Waters was limited in Wednesday's practice while nursing an ankle ailment, according to the Chiefs' official website.

Our View:Waters is a reliable starting guard on the Chiefs' unstable offensive line, and hopefully he won't be slowed by his ankle in Sunday's home game against the division rival Chargers.

According to the Kansas City Star, Brian Waters reported to training camp with the team on Thursday. Waters skipped all voluntary team activities this summer, and it was thought he might hold out of camp.

Our View:Waters has not been happy with new coack Todd Haley this summer, but he was in attendance with the team today. Hopefully the two sides can put their differences behind them, because the team needs waters to be productive this season.

The Kansas City Star believes that Brian Waters will be back in the fold with the Chiefs soon, and should attend training camp.

Our View:Waters requested to be traded or released earlier in the offseason, but it does not look like he will be a distraction. He is a rock-solid guard, and the most stable link on the Chiefs' offensive line.

After reports that he had requested to be traded or released after his first meeting with new Chiefs head coach Todd Haley in March, and after skipping all previous Chiefs offseason activities, Brian Waters reported to Chiefs mandatory minicamp on Friday according to the Kansas City Star.

Our View:Waters has been a pro bowler four of the last five seasons, and a mainstay at guard for the Chiefs this decade, so any absence of mandatory practices would certainly be of concern. But as of now, he appears ready to attend all practices and has not indicated he will miss any of training camp.
