Darrell Jackson has been moved from the flanker position to split end, according to the Rocky Mountain News. Jackson said, "I've got to get some work at 'X' because the first two or three games Brandon won't be there. So I have to get a little more experience at the position."

Our View:Jackson is moving to split end to cover for Brandon Marshall during his suspension at the start of the season. Jackson should start in Week 1 alongside rookie Eddie Royal. When Marshall returns from his suspension, Jackson will either start at flanker or work as a backup, depending on how well Royal performs over the first three games.

The Denver Post reports that Darrell Jackson has been working ahead of Keary Colbert in training camp. Both players could likely start if Brandon Marshall serves a suspension.

Our View:Jackson is only 29 and had 10 touchdowns in 2006. He has some late round sleeper value, expecially if he is the regular starter.

Darrell Jackson and Keary Colbert are competing for the No. 2 receiver role for the Broncos, this according to the Denver Post.

Our View:Expect Colbert to win the job, but expect both receivers to see equal work opposite No. 1 Brandon Marshall.

Darrell Jackson officially became a member of the Broncos on Wednesday after passing his physical, this according to the Denver Post. "There were three or four other teams interested in Darrell, but everything aligned perfectly for us with Denver," said Brian Mooney, Jackson's agent.

Our View:Jackson was simply awful last season in San Francisco with just 46 receptions for 497 yards. He will look to recapture past glory this season with Jay Cutler, a massive improvement over the quarterbacks who threw him the ball in San Francisco last year.

Former Seahawks' star Darrell Jackson will take his physical with the Broncos today, according to the Denver Post. He has already agreed on the financial parameters of a contract with the team, and should sign if his physical goes fine. The team earlier mentioned that they aren't stockpiling receivers due to the recent arm injury of rising star Brandon Marshall. The team signed Samie Parker this week as well.

Our View:Jackson failed to make an impact in San Francisco following a great career in Seattle, but he could benefit from a fresh start in Denver.
