Marc Bulger completed 26-of-40 passes for 298 yards with two touchdowns against one interception in the Week 10 loss to New Orleans.

Our View:This was by far Bulger's best performance of the season, as he was able to exploit the Saints decimated secondary, which was missing three starters. For now, we will file this effort in our "anomaly" folder.

The National Football Post reports that Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo is sticking with Marc Bulger as his starting quarterback despite the former Pro Bowler's ineffectiveness this season.

Our View:Bulger has just three touchdowns and a miserable 68.2 quarterback rating this year, but Spags sees potential there. The 1-7 Rams are on a bye week, but Bulger will still be the voice in the huddle when they return to the turf against the Saints in Week 10. "I think Marc has done everything we needed him to do," Spagnuolo said. "I've said this before; it's not one position on the side of the ball, it's everybody. He has been a leader, he manages the game." Sounds like Bulger isn't going anywhere, but he doesn't deserve a second look in fantasy formats.

X-rays taken on quarterback Marc Bulger's left (non-throwing) hand after the Rams loss to the Colts on Sunday came back negative, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Our View:What's another minor injury between friends? Bulger's minor hand injury comes on the heels of shoulder and finger injuries. If you are already starting him, there's no reason to stop now.

Marc Bulger had a decent outing in Sunday's 23-20 OT loss at Jacksonville, as he completed 22-of-34 passes for 213 yards, with one touchdown and one interception.

Our View:Bulger likely had a good enough performance to hold off Kyle Boller for the No. 1 role at quarterback. The Rams were leading 10-6 after three quarters, but were outscored 14-10 in the fourth quarter to push the battle into overtime.

The official Twitter page of the St. Louis Rams is reporting that the team has named Marc Bulger as their starting quarterback for this week's game against the Jaguars. Bulger will replace Kyle Boller, who suffered a head injury last week.

Our View:Boller has been cleared to practice this week, but Bulger will get another chance to prove he is the right guy to be the quarterback of this team. Bulger engineered an 80-yard touchdown drive in relief of Boller last week, but his recent history suggests that he will not be a good fantasy play this week.
