Contradicting a report from yesterday, a player rep for Marc Bulger said that the Rams quarterback is not considering retirement and wishes to keep playing, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Our View:It seems highly unlikely that the Rams, or any team for that matter, would bring Bulger in as their starter, though he could potentially compete for a starting gig somewhere. He is just 32 years old and would seemingly have a few years of football left in him.

"Multiple sources" report that long-time Rams quarterback Marc Bulger is considering retirement, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Our View:Although just 32 years old, Bulger has taken an absolute beating since coming into the league in 2002, and has steadily seen his play decline over time. It's quite possible he has not settled on a decision yet, but do not be surprised in the slightest if he decides to hang it up.

With just eight days left in the Rams season, quarterback Marc Bulger (broken leg) has been placed on injured reserve, according to the team.

Our View:This leaves Keith Null and Kyle Boller to finish out the season under center for St. Louis. Null is expected to get the start on Sunday. In nine games this season, Bulger passed for 1,469 yards, five touchdowns and six interceptions.

Marc Bulger (broken leg) is off his crutches, and even doing some walking, but will not play in Week 16, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Our View:And unless the Rams suddenly throw caution to the wind, he will not be active in Week 17, either. Keith Null is expected to get the nod at quarterback for the Rams this Sunday.

Week 15 inactives: Mike Reilly (third QB). QB Marc Bulger, T Jason Smith, T Ryan McKee, DE Leonard Little, T/G Eric Young, CB Jonathan Wade, RB Chris Ogbonnaya.

Our View:Keith Null will start at quarterback. James Hall and Chris Long will start at defensive end with Little down as well. As previously reported, Steven Jackson (back, illness) is active and will start against the Texans.
